This month's theme is best friend/best friends. The possibilites are pretty much endless here... here's a few examples of interpretations of the theme which you could use or build on, but by all means go beyond these ideas or do something completely original!

* My best friend
* Imaginary friends
* Man's best friend
* Something you couldn't live without
* Pets
* Stuffed toys (maybe from childhood)
* Material posessions
* BFF

Thanks to everyone who participated, there was a great selection of different art styles and we have actually ended up with joint winners, so congratulations to =simonsaz3 and *Adan-Zepeda on your fabulous art! Here's what we had to say!

"My vote for this month's *IllustrateThis contest goes to "New" by *Adan-Zepeda His entry's clean, almost abstract style displays the contest's theme very well, and he explores the concept of "new beginnings" without delving into the usual ideas of birth or pregnancy. I also must say that his use of textures give the image quite a bit of depth."

"A very interesting approach on the topic, with an amazing execution, at the same time minimalistic and rich in detail, =simonsaz3's "Fractal Art: Fetus" leaves the viewer stunned and manages to remind us of the miracle that is the becoming of new life."
